I just receieved my first ever commission from the awesome

Thank you so, so much love! I know I've already thanked you a million time, but, well, now it can be one million and one! I'm so freakin' excited!

I can't even emphasise just how much I really, really needed the money, more than ever now that my car's windshield cracked the other day!

So, yeah, I'll be busily working on her commission like the good graphics worker I am!

COMMISSIONS:

Prices (payment to be made when I have shown you the basic layout):


$5.00 -- for sketch, line and quick colour; one character, A4
$7.00 -- for sketch, line, detailed colour and simple background; one character, A4
$10.00 -- for a manipulation, or a high detailed digital work with detailed background; one character, A4


These prices are flexible though, and are just a guide. If you want to pay less, I'll do less, pay more and you'll get more. A3 (big!) sized works will be an extra $1.00, as they need a little more detail and work because mistakes are easier to see. Extra high detail subjects will incur an extra $4.00 per character, because they are the hardest bit and require the most time. This does count if the extra character/s are a low detail scene prop or part of the background I think that's fair enough.

All digital commissions will come in a resolution high enough for printing (250dpi in A4 and 300dpi for A3), and traditional commissions can be posted to you if you'd like for a small extra fee, probably about $4.00 depending on where you are. I live in Australia so shipping within AUS I'll do for free!


What can you do?: Basically anything except traditional painting. I am unforgivably lousy with all types of paint. Please, do not ask me to do it, you would only regret it! But to list the types of thing you CAN ask for.

Traditional Illustration -- coloured with Copic Markers (see my Illustrated Horse Alphabet for an example) or good quality coloured pencils.

Digital illustration -- inked and coloured in photoshop

Traditional Line -- black and white illustration with pen and ink.

Subjects -- I'm best at horses, but I've also drawn wolves, cats and people in my past and I'll give anything a go if you're willing to ask!

Guarantee -- If you're not happy with the work I've done, if I haven't done what what was asked for properly to a massive extent that can't be fixed by a simple edit, then I will take another shot at it for no charge (of course), or I can simply give you your money back. Money won't be moved from my PayPal account until the commission is finished


How can I commission you?: Note me with your expression of interest, tell me what you'd like done, and I'll tell you if I can do it and quote you a price! I will update you occassionally on the progress of your commission (or you can see below on my journal) and at some point I will give you my email address so you can pay me! It's easy. So do it. Please?

I must express at this point a very important fact; please only commission me if you are GENUINELY ABLE TO AFFORD IT, if you have the MONEY ON HAND, and have a GENUINE INTEREST in having the finished product. Please do not waste my time when I could be working for someone who WILL be so kind as to pay me on time...

I love to see my characters done by others, and it's way fun to draw other people's characters for a change! If you want to trade, note me now, because when I get more commissions the trades will be closed as I'll be busy!

(please keep in mind that I will only trade with people of a similar skill level. I don't want to work on my half for hours, to get ten minutes worth of work in return. A good trade is a FAIR trade...)
